collage

I started doing collage work in 2012 when I took a class at Arrowmont. And while it seems like a short time, it feels like it's been a lifetime in development. Everything I know and don't know finds its way into this work. You could say it's where I find my soul. Or you might call it truth. My design skills come into play as each of these are developed. However, ultimately, collages are a place where I do not have to take into consideration the practical qualities and immense planning that goes into a design project. So, there is a sense of freedom and exploration that I am able to loose myself within. This is perhaps the most important factor in any work: honesty.
