I worked with Carnegie Mellon Professor Kristin Hughes, founder of Latham Street Commons in Pittsburgh, PA, to develop a brand for Night Owl Bakers. Centered on the idea of integrating food commerce with sustainability & self-care, Night Owl Bakers provides an innovative approach to workforce development & employment.
The initial goal is simple; to get young adults off the street at night and teach them a skill, like how to bake. Along the way, they are introduced to entrepreneurship skills and lifelong habits that they can use in future jobs while instilling a closer connection to their local community.
